About

Me and Tuck and BessieTo me dogs are much more than just a pet. They are members of the family. Their pure hearts offer up unconditional love and friendship. When you come home after a hard, demanding day there is always a waggy tail to greet you. They don’t judge you or wish you were someone different. They just love and trust you completely.

I have been a dog lover and owner my whole life. For the few years my husband and I lived in the U.K., I was without a dog to call my own. I made up for it by volunteering my time to walk dogs at the RSPCA in Liverpool, England. Upon returning to Canada to settle, we decided to get two baby beagles, a brother and sister. It has been the best seven years and we have enjoyed the love and laughter that comes with being proud, beagle parents to Tuck and Bess.

It was when we were trying to juggle our work schedules to get home for the beagles that I discovered a dog walking service. I knew that I possessed the passion, commitment and love of animals that would enable me to give dogs the care that they truly deserve. I started with Puppy Dog Trails in Oakville five years ago and immediately knew that this is what I was meant to do. I did private walks, puppy visits and leash free group nature hikes. I learned what it means to be the pack leader. It was so rewarding and I knew that I was doing a great job by the happy faces and waggy tails! This has been my inspiration for Waggy Tails in the Trails. I want to give your dog the care, commitment and love that you can trust and that your pet deserves.
